Hello, my name is Yukie and I’m 19 years old. I’m from Kumamoto, and I live there. There is a big castle whose name is Kumamoto castle. I want you to see that so I’ll bring pictures. I’m a student of KGU and my major is English. I like to learn about foreign culture and foreign language. When I was 13 years old, I began to study English. English is the most useful language in the world so I would like to speak English more fluently.
By the way, I’ve never been to your country, Canada. I know that the temperature of Canada is lower than that of Japan. I worry about my clothes. I don’t have many clothes for winter so I have to buy. I’d like to go to Prince Edward Island. Anne of Green Gables is my favorite book so I interested in Anne’s house and the nature of island. How long does it take from Halifax to the island?
My favorite food is salad and tomato is really good for me. But I don’t like tomato juice. I like dressing better than mayonnaise. I know that maple syrup is really famous in Canada. My Canadian friend, Gina, recommended that I have it so I want to try it. Oh, I have to tell you about milk tea. I don’t like milk tea. When I have milk tea, I have a stomachache. I don’t know why it happens.
I’m really looking forward to visiting you. I want to improve my English skill and speak with a lot of people. In Canada, I’ll be able to have a wonderful time with you!
